Barkley’s agricultural tyres are subject to extensive testing, explains Enno Schottert: “And these results allow us to calculate the price per hour. This involves comparing the previous tyre you used with a Barkley agricultural tyre. We also offer you an operating hours guarantee; so Barkley tyres will last for a minimum number of hours. And you can hold us to this promise. This is our way of guaranteeing an excellent price/quality ratio.”

Innovations and expansion

Barkley is continuously involved in innovations and new developments. This is the brand’s way of always proving itself in the market. In 2018, Barkley launched its first three BLF01-type flotation tyres. The most popular sizes will be added to these tyre ranges in the coming years. Thanks to a steel-belted casing, these flotation tyres offer a higher load bearing capacity, greater stability and better protection against damage than tyres with nylon-based casings.

Other additions to the range include the 540/65R38 and the 600/65R34, which will both be launched in 2019. In addition, bigger tyre sizes will also become available for large tractors (BLA03 or BLA07).
