Opening own distribution centre in France

The French tyre market is so important to Heuver Tyrewholesale that it will be opening its own distribution centre in Saint Quentin Fallavier (near Lyon) on 1 April 2015. The range of truck tyres by own import brand Aeolus has been particularly successful in France. The new service hub will allow Heuver to guarantee fast delivery and also reduce transport costs for French customers. This step is part of the company's vision for the French market.

Logical investment

“Last year, we invested heavily in France as far as personnel was concerned”, states Bertus Heuver, director at Heuver Tyrewholesale. “In keeping with our philosophy of country-specific teams, we created a French team for the back-office as well as the sales force. As a result, all customer enquiries are now answered in their mother tongue. This allows them to fully benefit from our comprehensive range of services. We want to be close to the action as far as our most important markets are concerned. And if this requires investment, we will not hesitate to do what is necessary; that is why our own distribution centre in France is a logical development and offers our customers a whole range of benefits.”

Aeolus growing strongly in France

By opening a new service hub in Saint Quentin Fallavier (circa 30 km from Lyon) on 1 April, Heuver will be able to offer great benefits to its customers. This includes fast delivery at competitive rates, as well as automatic payment of Eco tax. Heuver will be starting with its range of truck tyres by exclusive import brand Aeolus, which have already experienced strong growth in France. Bertus Heuver: “Aeolus tyres are of high quality product and can easily compete with the main A brand. Aeolus also offers modern tyres, which meet the latest European trends. This is something more and more French customers are discovering; just like customers elsewhere in Europe before them.”
