Now available directly from stock at Heuver Tyres.

Developed for Heavy-Duty and Versatile Applications

Machines that combine heavy loads with road transport and operation on unpaved terrain place high demands on their tyres. Load capacity, traction, stability and performance at high speeds must work together to ensure reliable operation under a wide range of conditions.

With the AGT24, Aeolus offers a tyre solution specifically developed for this combination of applications. Thanks to its robust All-Steel casing and versatile tread design, the tyre combines high load capacity with reliable traction on unpaved terrain and driving comfort on the road. Even at speeds of up to 100 km/h.

The Aeolus AGT24 has undergone extensive field testing under European operating conditions and is now widely available. This makes it a versatile tyre solution for a range of machines, including agrotrucks, telehandlers, self-propelled wood chippers and self-propelled verge mowers.

Technical specifications and innovations

  • Suitable for Speeds of up to 100 km/h

Drawing on years of experience in the transport and earthmoving sectors, Aeolus developed the AGT24 for machines that need to perform both on unpaved terrain and on the road.

The robust All-Steel casing provides the strength required for intensive use, while the tread design combines traction on unpaved surfaces with stability and driving comfort on asphalt. This makes the AGT24 suitable for applications that combine heavy loads with road transport at speeds of up to 100 km/h.

  • Maximum load capacity without loss of performance

The strong steel carcass construction guarantees maximum mechanical load capacity. This robust structure significantly reduces the risk of radial run-out and cracking. The AGT24 therefore delivers an impressive load capacity, supporting up to 11.4 tonnes on the rear axle at 65 km/h without any loss of performance.

  • 7.0 BAR OEM certification

The Aeolus AGT24 comes with an official Technical Declaration for operation at a tyre pressure of 7.0 BAR. This means the tyre immediately complies with the strictest factory requirements that many machinery manufacturers (OEMs) now specify as standard for the acceptance and technical inspection of new vehicles.

Suitable for every terrain

Ready for Every Application

The capabilities of the Aeolus AGT24 extend far beyond its use on agrotrucks. The tyre has been developed for a wide range of machines that require load capacity and traction as well as stability and driving comfort.

The robust All-Steel casing provides support under heavy loads, while the self-cleaning tread ensures reliable traction on unpaved surfaces. At the same time, its suitability for speeds of up to 100 km/h makes the AGT24 an attractive option for machines that also travel regularly on the road.

From agricultural transport and loading operations to wood chipping and roadside maintenance, the AGT24 is ready for a wide range of applications.

Agrotrucks

Agrotrucks are used for heavy-duty transport operations that regularly alternate between unpaved terrain and road travel. This requires tyres that not only provide sufficient traction in the field but also remain stable and comfortable during longer journeys on asphalt.

The Aeolus AGT24 combines a robust All-Steel casing with a traction-oriented tread design that provides grip and self-cleaning performance on soft and unpaved surfaces. At the same time, the tyre is suitable for speeds of up to 100 km/h, allowing it to meet the demands of intensive road transport.

The AGT24 therefore provides the combination of load capacity, traction and driving comfort that agrotrucks require.

Telehandlers

When lifting and moving heavy loads, a stable foundation is essential. This is particularly important when a telehandler operates on an unpaved yard, construction site or soft ground.

The All-Steel casing of the Aeolus AGT24 is designed to withstand these heavy loads. Combined with its robust tread design, the tyre provides the necessary load capacity and traction for a wide range of loading and lifting operations.

Traction remains important even on less stable ground. The self-cleaning action of the tread helps clear mud and loose soil, allowing the tyres to maintain their grip more effectively.

Self-Propelled Wood Chippers

Self-propelled wood chippers combine a high machine weight with operations on forest roads, unpaved tracks and soft ground. Their tyres must be capable of carrying these heavy loads while providing sufficient traction to move the machine under challenging conditions.

The Aeolus AGT24 features a robust All-Steel casing designed for heavy-duty applications. Its deep, self-cleaning tread supports traction on loose and muddy surfaces and helps prevent the tread from quickly becoming clogged with soil.

As a result, the AGT24 offers a combination of load capacity and traction that meets the demands of professional wood chippers.

Self-Propelled Verge Mowers

From wet grass verges to soft, unpaved ground, operating conditions can change constantly during roadside maintenance. Sufficient traction is essential to keep the machine moving and manoeuvring in a controlled manner.

The self-cleaning tread of the Aeolus AGT24 is particularly valuable on these varying surfaces. Accumulated mud and soil are more easily cleared from the tread while driving, helping the tyre maintain its available traction.

In addition, the robust All-Steel casing provides a strong foundation for the loads encountered during operation and manoeuvring. This makes the AGT24 well suited to the varied conditions in which self-propelled verge mowers operate.

The Aeolus AGT24 in practice: the experience of Agrotruck GmbH & Co. KG

Agrotruck GmbH & Co. KG is a German specialist in the sale, rental and modification of agrotrucks for the agricultural sector. As an expert in transport vehicles, the company spent years searching for the ideal tyre solution for its customers.

Quote from Justin Lüdtke, Managing Director of Agrotruck GmbH & Co. KG

“The problem with agrotruck tyres is that customers have to compromise between load capacity, speed, traction in the field and comfort on the road.

We tried various tyre brands, but often found that the tyres experienced problems with the combination of load capacity and speed. This resulted in cracks developing in the tyres on the drive axle when used in single fitment.

With the AEOLUS AGT24 agrotruck tyre, we do not have this problem. Thanks to its strong steel carcass and specially designed tread pattern, we can provide our customers with a solution that fully meets their requirements.”

Results from real-world use

Agrotruck GmbH & Co. KG has been fitting the Aeolus AGT24 to its vehicles since the beginning of this year, including the MAN AgroTruck 18.440 4x4. For this specific configuration, tyre size 445/65 R 22.5 is used on the front axle and 600/50 R 22.5 on the rear axle.

Initial customer experiences in real-world conditions confirm the technical advantages of this series:

  • No heat-related problems: The extreme increase in tyre temperature, a common problem during intensive transport operations, is now a thing of the past with the AGT24.

  • Traction and comfort: The redesigned tread with a wider centre rib provides more stable and quieter handling on asphalt without compromising the essential grip required on unpaved surfaces.

Based on these results, Agrotruck GmbH & Co. KG has made a clear decision to continue using Aeolus AGT24 wheel sets as its standard solution.
