Earthmoving tyre fitting
If you are unable to fit earthmoving tyres yourself, we can take care of this for you at our own Heuver Service Center. Alternatively, we can do it on-site at your location or directly at your customer’s site. In the latter case, if desired, we can deliver the tyres neutrally on your behalf to your customer. This ensures you avoid unnecessary extra costs.

Mounting earthmoving tyres requires specialist knowledge.
Due to their large diameter and low rim flange, the tyre may only be inflated to a limited pressure – known as the mounting pressure. If this is exceeded, there is a risk that the bead will be forced over the rim flange, potentially leading to dangerous situations.
Additionally, many earthmoving tyres with a traction pattern are directional. It is therefore essential that the tyre and wheel assembly is mounted correctly on the vehicle. Our technicians know exactly what to look out for and always ensure a safe and proper installation.

Safe and precise rim mounting
We mount rims both at the Heuver Service Center and on location – always with care and in accordance with regulations.
The rim is centered on the vehicle, which can be done in three ways: via the bolt holes, via the axle, or a combination of both.
During installation, our technicians tighten the bolts in a crisscross pattern and use a torque wrench to precisely apply the manufacturer-specified torque. After (de)mounting, it is important to check the bolt tension after 8 hours of operation.
For a correct and safe installation:
- We thoroughly clean each rim in advance.
- We check whether a standard rim is sufficient or if a reinforced version is required.
- A reinforced rim features an extra welded ring in the bead seat area for added strength – for example, in cases of intensive or heavy-duty use.
Pressing solid rubber tyres: specialist work done in-house
Pressing solid rubber tyres is a precise and specialist task.
At Heuver, we have our own pressing installation and carry out this process entirely in-house – quickly, expertly, and efficiently.
In addition to pressing, we can also fill tyres with polyurethane, a technique where air is replaced with a special foam. This prevents punctures and makes tyres suitable for the most demanding environments, such as construction sites, recycling operations, and industrial settings.
