Tyres for graders
Graders require different tyres than loaders, bulldozers, scrapers and rigid or articulated dumpers. Graders are used when maintaining and building roads; to flatten the top layer of the sand bed or the unhardened road. But graders can also be very useful when, for example, clearing snow.
In order to work with graders as efficiently and effectively as possible, or to improve results, it is essential for grader tyres to offer excellent traction and accurate directional stability. The casing and profile thus feature special designs.
Graders tend to travel at a range of speeds: they are slow when activities are being carried out, although the maximum transport speed can be around 40 km/h. Tyres are exposed to relatively constant loads while activities are being carried out.
